School Closing Guidelines

Information regarding school closings is shared with the public in several ways.

Parents/guardians, staff, coaches, etc are notified via a phone call and/or text message from our automated messaging system using contact information listed in Skyward*

• A notice will be posted on the district website

TV and Radio stations, are notified inclement weather causes school to be closed for a day, the announcement will be made over: 

  • Channel 7 (WSAW)

  • Channel 9 (WAOW)

  • WDLB (1450 AM) 

*Automated phone message: Parents are responsible for maintaining and updating their contact information to ensure receipt of notifications via phone or text.
