Welcome to the School District of Marshfield! We are excited to have you join our community. To learn more about our school district and for information regarding enrollment, simply click through the tabs and links on our website. We strive to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information to our families, making it easy for you to explore what our school district has to offer.
Additionally, we offer online registration and Open Enrollment applications, which can be accessed through our website. Skyward Family streamlines the enrollment process, allowing you to complete necessary paperwork at your own pace. We are committed to providing a seamless and efficient experience for our families, and we look forward to serving you through our online registration and application process.
Follow these steps to enroll in the School District of Marshfield

Determine Boundary
| Early Learning Centers
Students are assigned to a 4K site on a first-come-first-serve basis and neighborhood school location. It is important to complete online registration early. Placement letters will be posted in your Skyward Family Access account in early August.| Elementary Schools
Elementary students will be assigned to their neighborhood school identified by the Elementary School Boundary Map at the time of enrollment.
| Secondary Schools
Secondary students will be assigned based on grade. Students in grades 7 & 8 attend Marshfield Middle School, students in grades 9-12 attend Marshfield High School.

- *Birth Certificate-If you are enrolling a child in our 4-year old or 5-year old kindergarten programs, please note that you will also need to bring in an original birth or baptismal certificate for age verification prior to starting the school year*.
- Court Documents- If Applicable
- Special Needs Data-IEP, 505, ect.
- Request for Student Records- If your child has not ever attended school, please indicate non-applicable for previous school, city, and state. If your child is entering from home school, please list the last school attended or non-applicable.

- 20xx-20xx Family/Friend Permission to Share Information- For school district staff to communicate with extended family, friends, or caregivers about your child, you must give written permission. This includes stepparents, significant others, grandparents, daycare providers, friends who transport, ect. Please complete the form indicating whom you would like us to be able to share student information (attendance, transportation plans, academic progress, health needs, IEPs, ect.) This form must be completed yearly and can be revoked at anytime.

Skyward Registration
| New families will need to create a Skyward Account.
Register for a Skyward Family Access Account
After successfully providing the required information, you will promptly receive an email containing a link to complete your registration process. Simply follow the link and enter the login credentials and password provided in the email.
| Already have a Skyward Family Access Login?
Log in as usual, then click "New Student Online Enrollment" to start a new application. Fill out the required information to “enroll online”.
If you are unable to access your account, please contact your school secretary. Identification is needed to obtain your login and password.
| No Internet Access?
If you don't have access to a computer or the internet, you can stop in a School Office or the Board of Education Office on any regular school day from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. or by appointment to register in person.
| Outside the School District/Open Enrollment
If you reside outside the School District of Marshfield, you MUST also complete:
Intradistrict Transfer Request (found under Online Forms in Skyward) - Current and New 4K - Grade 6 families need to complete this form.
AND
Online Open Enrollment Application through the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) website.More information and FAQ's about Open Enrollment can also be found on the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) website.

Enroll Online
| After logging in, you will need to complete 6 steps in the online application-instructions provided for each area
Please note that fields marked with a red (*) asterisk are required.
As you finish each step, you will have the option to save and move to the next step. Be sure to click SAVE before completing that step.
In Step 5 (Requested Documents), you are encouraged, but not required, to upload the necessary documents. If you are unable to upload them, you can still select the "Complete Step 5 and move to Step 6" button.
In Step 6 (Additional District Forms), forms that are required will be marked with a red (*) asterisk. To fill out a form, simply click directly on the form name.
Once the form is completed, a checkbox next to the form name will be checked.
After completing all the required forms, click "Complete Step 6". You will then see a review of all the steps. To the right of each step, there should be a "Date Completed" stamp.
At this point, you can view or edit each step and print the application.
The last step is for the parent/guardian to click "Submit Application to the District". Once the application is submitted, it can be viewed but not edited. You will be offered an option to email documentation, and then you must visit your child's school with the documentation to complete enrollment.
After submitting the application, you will be taken back to the summary page. If you need to enroll a sibling, you can click the button "Click to Enroll Additional Students" to start a new application.

Constructed in 1968, with additions and remodeling done to the building in 1994 and 2006. The area (square feet) of the building is 297,985 with a designed capacity of 1,400 students. The high school features 79 classrooms, an auditorium (seating capacity 642), field house and auxiliary gymnasium (seating capacity 3,400), cafeteria (seating capacity 350), library (seating capacity 180), and multi-media room (seating capacity 205). The total acreage at the Senior High School is 60 acres. -

Constructed in 1992. Total square feet is 81,600 with a designed capacity of 850 students, which is the largest student capacity of all elementary schools in the School District of Marshfield. Grant Elementary features 33 classrooms, cafeteria/commons area (seating capacity 216), and a multi-purpose room/gym (seating capacity 900). Grant Elementary's land plot is 24.6 acres. -
