2025 Forward Testing Information
Dear Parents and Guardians:
Wisconsin Students in Grades 3-8 & 10 will be participating in the Wisconsin Forward Exam assessment during the spring state testing window. State assessments, including the Forward Exam, are required by both State (Wis. Stat. § 118.30) and Federal ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) Law. Our school is scheduled to take the Wisconsin Forward Exam assessment on various dates this Spring. Please see the table at the bottom of this letter for specific grade-level testing times.
The Wisconsin Forward Exam assessment tests students in the areas of English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. One or more subtests may be administered daily during the identified time frame. It is very important that your student is in school during this time.

Hello and welcome to a new and exciting year at Madison Elementary. I am thrilled to be part of the Madison family and I look forward to continuing the traditions that make Madison the place to be.
This is my 22nd year in education. I have worked as a teacher and building administrator at the elementary and middle school levels. I look forward to meeting and working with all of Madison’s wonderful families. Working together as partners, we can do what is best for all of our students. At Madison, the students come first. Our dedicated and exceptional staff will work diligently on behalf of our students to provide them with an education that will prepare them to be active and successful citizens in a global society.
I encourage you to stay involved in your child’s education. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher. If you would like to speak with me, please feel free to call, email, or schedule an appointment. I am happy to take time for every family. In addition, Madison has an active and supportive parent-teacher organization (PTO) that provides support and funds for Madison. The PTO is another excellent way to get involved at school.
I am excited about a successful 2024 – 2025 school year! I look forward to working with you, as partners, in your child’s education. Everyone at Madison is here for the students, and together we will accomplish phenomenal things this year! Happy New School Year #madisonfamily
