APPOINTMENT SLIPS:  Be sure to get an appointment slip and turn it in to the office for your child's doctor, dentist, vision, legal, counseling/therapy appointments in order for your child's absence to be exempt from the 10 days you are allowed per year.

SUMMER SCHOOL

 Here are the dates for 2025 Elementary Summer School registration and programming:

• Registration Window:

• Opens Monday, April 14^th at 6:00 p.m.
• Closes Friday, April 25^th at 6:00 p.m.
• Registration again this year will be done electronically.

• Camp Invention is scheduled to be held at Madison Elementary on Monday, June 9^th to Friday, June 13^th, from 8:00 – 2:45 daily.
• Elementary Summer School (6 week program) is scheduled to be held at Grant Elementary on Monday, June 16^th to Friday, July 25^th, from 7:45 – 12:00 daily, with no classes on Thursday, July 4^th.

 You can register your child(ren) online through Skyward Family Access.  Watch for more information to come!

Kobussen Bus -  715-387-0101 (press # 1 for school bus)

In order for your child(ren) to ride the bus, you must register each child through Skyward Family Access under Online Forms.  Kobussen Bus will then contact you regarding approximate pick-up times, or call Kobussen at the above number.

• Parents are requested to call Kobussen Bus when their child will be absent from school and they do not need to stop at your house. 
• For our younger students (especially 4K through Grade 1), have an identification card with the home bound bus number, student name, parent name, and phone number pinned to his/her clothing or backpack for the first week of school.

We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she: 

• Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience
• Completes all homework assignments given by the teacher
• Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills
• Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life
• Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject
• Knows that you expect him/her to succeed in school

I encourage you to become a volunteer and an active member of the Nasonville Elementary School PTO. Please check the calendar in the monthly newsletter for the dates and times of the meetings or go to Facebook at Nasonville School PTO. All are welcome! All of our students can greatly benefit from your involvement and contributions to the school’s program and its operations.

Please take some time to read through the parent/student handbook. It is full of important information and will help you and your child have a successful year. It will provide you with some of the basic information about our expectations and common procedures for the Unified School District of Marshfield.
