Meeting times/location: Sept. and May- drama club meets during rehearsal time in the form of cast and crew work time and practice
- Tuesday: 3:15-5:30 PM (auditorium)
- Wednesday: 3:15-5:30 PM (auditorium)
- Thursday: 3:15-5:30 PM (auditorium)
- Friday: Occasionally 3:15-5:30 PM (auditorium)
- Saturday: 9 AM-Noon during rehearsal time (auditorium)
Annual Club Fee: $20
Mission Statement: MHS Drama Club introduces students in the unique aspects of stagecraft and production. We create a safe space where students can explore what makes them an individual through performance art. The creative team and mentoring students focus on the educational aspect of theatre skill and team-building, encouraging students to take meaning from the experience and connect the greater message of the story told on the stage for the benefit of the broader community.
Yearly Events: Bi-Annual NYC Trip (June), Holiday parties, Fall Play, Spring Musical, Local trips to touring theatre productions
Awards/Recognitions: Jerry Awards (with the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, WI and The Grand in Wausau, WI)
