In addition to a $1,000 honorarium, Glodowski receives a core archive of American history books and Gilder Lehrman educational materials and recognition at a local ceremony in their honor, and becomes one of 53 finalists for the 2023 National History Teacher of the Year Award. 

Justin Glodowski is in his 13th year teaching high school social studies.  He currently teaches AP US Government and Politics, AP Comparative Government and Politics, and Genocide and Human Rights and has a master’s degree in Teaching American History and Government from Ashland University.  He has served in the Wisconsin Council for the Social Studies as a board member, Vice President, and, more recently, as President.  Justin has also worked with the National Constitution Center and the Retro Report on teacher advisory groups.
