Labor Market Summary & Information (LMI)

Labor Market Information is data about jobs, such as what careers are in demand, how much they pay, and the skills or education needed, helping people make smart decisions about their future.

Labor market information (LMI) is a critical, yet often overlooked component of academic and career planning. LMI can help school districts develop cutting-edge Career Technical Education (CTE) programs by uncovering the skills students will need in the future.

In addition, LMI can assist students and parents/guardians in better understanding

  • Which jobs are most likely available
  • Which Jobs are well-compensated

Below, you will find state and regional LMI for both school districts and individual educators to help students become college, career, and life ready!
