Summer Food Service

Stressing the importance of offering nutritious meals to children during the summer months, the Unified School District of Marshfield announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program.

Summer Food, Summer Fun!

Two elementary aged girls appear to be joyfully running together, holding hands. The girl on the left is dressed in a blue shirt and is carrying a bunch of balloons, while the girl on the right is wearing an orange shirt and has a smile on her face.

The Summer Food Service Program provides nutritious meals to children during the summer, when free and reduced-price school meals are typically unavailable.  Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under.  Persons over 18 years of age who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who also participate in a public or private non-profit school program during the regular school year may receive free meals as well.

Summer Menus

Please note that all meals must be consumed on-site and cannot be taken as a "grab and go" meal. Children do not need to attend summer school to participate and no pre-registration is required. Meals are provided to all children regardless of race, color, national origin, gender or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of meal service.
