  • Co-ops and Internships

    Marshfield High School offers many Co-op and Internship programs for Seniors, including Agribusiness, Business and Marketing, Family and Consumer Sciences, Technology Education, and Future Teacher Internship.  Students experience rigorous curriculum and make connections to the world of work.  Students work towards mastering industry-endorsed competencies and may be awarded a Youth Leadership Skills Certificate, Employability Skills Certificate, and/or a state skill certificate issued by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction upon successful completion.

    Capstones

    Marshfield High School also offers Capstone courses for students interested in manufacturing careers.  Capstones are career based classes that are designed to focus a student towards career goals and equip them with the knowledge and resources required to pursue a career in the manufacturing industry. Several hands-on, minds-on projects will be required to deepen their understanding in all areas of manufacturing.

    Health Career Connections

    Health Career Connections offers internships designed to familiarize students with the various careers in the medical profession.  Students will learn skills necessary for their health care career pathway, in addition to working with others, legal and ethical responsibilities, cultural considerations in the health care industry, problem solving, decision making, accepting personal responsibility, and self-management.  Nursing Assistant certification will be required between junior and senior year. To apply for Health Career Connections you must complete a program application and interview with employers during your sophomore year.
