• Please contact your child's teacher if you are interested in joining CLC-OWL. Our first day is Monday September 9th. All students must have updated enrollment paperwork to join the 2019-2020 program.
There may be a short wait period for students before starting the program dependent upon the number of students enrolling. Thank you.

What is OWL?

  • The Madison Elementary Open, Wonder, Learn Program (OWL) is a 21st Century Community Learning Center (CLC) dedicated to serving all students at Madison Elementary School. We are a federally funded site overseen by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The main purpose of CLCs are to provide safe, enriching environments to students during after school hours. We work to develop 21st Century skills such as leadership, teamwork, creativity, and independence. We do this through offering hands-on experiences that push students to apply lessons from the school day to projects and experiences they typically do not have access to.

If you are interested in enrolling your child in the CLC program, speak with their teacher. CLC staff will send out enrollment paperwork to your family. Program effectiveness and student safety are extremely important, so a waitlist can be necessary to ensure proper staff to student ratios. We encourage all families to check out the program! CLC is full of opportunities that can be a benefit to every learner.
